Laura Lum Corby: Founder/CEO
Laura Lum Corby is currently the Founder/CEO of the Autism Solution Center, Inc. in the Memphis, Tennessee area, Vice President and Educational Director for FAIR Autism Media, and serves on the Board of Directors for Extreme Sports Camp, An Experience For Autism. She is the parent of two children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as having an Autism Spectrum Disorder herself. She has a 10-year-old son who was diagnosed with full-blown autism at 18 months, and a 16-year-old daughter with multiple difficulties in the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s Syndrome. Ms. Corby is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Psychology and plans to return to medical school when completed. Ms. Corby is now using her strong medical and marketing background to address the issues facing autism and those affected by it. She has spent the last five and a half years engaged in intensive biomedical, dietary and therapeutic research, as it relates to Autism Spectrum Disorders. Ms. Corby is actively involved in disability advocacy; (local, state and national) legislative issues and awareness; autism research, education and treatments; building community relationships and inclusion with those affected by autism and their families. She is actively involved as an advocate for her own children, as well as on behalf of others who are unable to advocate for themselves. Her vision is to provide an Autism Solution Center, similar to a St. Jude's, but not related, for Autism that can address the multi-faceted needs of those affected by autism, accessible to everyone, at no cost. Ms. Corby is also a graduate of the Partner’s In Policy Making Leadership Institute, a division of the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Corby is widely recognized as an autism/Asperger's expert and speaker at autism conferences and workshops across the nation in all related topics including, but not limited to, biomedical/dietary intervention, behavior modification, IDEA rights and advocacy, understanding Asperger's Syndrome, and others.

Dr. V.R. Brewer - Neuropsychologist
Dr. Vickie R. Brewer is a graduate of University of Houston’s Clinical Neuropsychology program which was a joint neuroscience program between University of Houston and Baylor College of Medicine. She trained at a number of facilities including M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor Department of Neurosurgery, and Blue Bird Clinic for Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Brewer completed her residency at University of Tennessee. After completing her residency, she began Center for Pediatric Neuropsychology (CPN). CPN is a privately owned practice where children with a wide range of developmental and neurological disorders are evaluated and diagnosed. Dr. Brewer is also Director of Neuropsychology at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center. In addition to these clinical responsibilities, Dr. Brewer has academic appointments through University of Tennessee. She is Clinical Associate Professor in the departments of Pediatric and Neurology. Dr. Brewer is dedicated to teaching and training students in the area of Neuropsychology. She works with several facilities to provide training placements for graduate students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Brewer is also very interested in research and is involved in a number of research projects on various neurological conditions.

The Autism Solution Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. ASC is responsible to a Governing Board of Directors, who provide accountability and balance to the decision making process. The role of the Board is to:
• Approve the strategic direction of the organization
• Approve the annual budget
• Approve appointments to Board Committees
• Approve decisions to employ or discontinue to employ the President
• Elect Board Officers and fill vacancies on the Board
• Approve the scope of responsibility of the Board and Committees
• Decide issues and approve policies that would significantly change or affect the
strategic direction of the organization

Dan Weddle – President, ProTech Solutions, Inc.
Board Position: Board President
Dan Weddle has over 17 years of information technology industry experience. He has held sales and management positions with major corporations in information technology including hardware repair/logistics, software sales, custom application development consulting, network consulting, business process reengineering/strategy and staffing. He started his career as a program/project manager and is currently the President of ProTech Systems Group, Inc. ProTech is a professional services company providing contract, contract-to-hire and permanent placement for Information Technology, Accounting/Finance staffing business. The network support business provides network infrastructure consulting services for the SMB market. ProTech Systems Group provides business process improvement through people and technology. They supplement their client’s current staff for short and long term projects on a contract basis. They assist clients through permanent placement services in finding just the right person to add to their staff or to fill a leadership or executive role. ProTech also provides technology services to businesses through a highly trained staff. The goal is to proactively assist clients with their business initiatives. Dan attended the University of Memphis and Saint Regis University graduating with a BBA in Business Administration. Dan lives in the metro Memphis area with his wife and four boys. He also serves on the board of advisors for ITT Technical Institute and serves on the board of directors for The Autism Solution Center, Inc. (ASC) a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization developed to address the ongoing need for autism therapy, support services, and research.

Ian Brooks, Ph.D. – Project Manager, Biomedical Informatics
Board Position: Member
Ian is a Project Manager for the Biomedical informatics Unit, part of the Clinical & Translational Science Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He has a PhD in Neuroscience (sub-specialty molecular genetics), and has been an academic researcher for 11 years. In Grad School he successfully applied for Predoctoral Fellowships from the American heart Association, with his second grant being ranked in the top 2% of the applicant pool. Ian has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles and has submitted approximately one million dollars worth of grant applications to the National institutes of Health this year.
Ian is also a Science Communicator, a “job” he take very seriously; the lack of clear, two-way communication between science and the general public is at fault for many of the very serious problems facing society and the world today. Since 2006 he has been Commissioning Editor for the science magazine Lablit, and he has a lay-writing portfolio of over almost 30 science-communication articles. Ian maintains a blog on the award winning “Nature Network” that is consistently one of the “Featured Blogs” on Nature’s main site, with his blog ranked in the top 5 blogs on the Network. Ian is an Associate Editor for the National Postdoc Association magazine, “The Postdocket”.
In Graduate School Ian was a member of the Dean’s Working-Climate Committee, he is past-President of the UT Postdoc Association, an elected Member of the Board of Directors of The National Postdoc Association (NPA), and chair of the NPA Oversight & Elections Committee. Under his leadership the UT Postdoc Association was awarded “Most Outstanding New PDA” at the NPA 2008 Annual Meeting.

Susan Lattimore – CFP ® - The Marston Group, PLC

Susan is a Certified Financial Planner® and an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Susan has over 15 years experience working with closely-held businesses and high net-worth individuals. Prior to joining The Marston Group in 2007, she was a senior tax manager at Thompson Dunavant PLC. During her 11 year tenure at Thompson Dunavant she chaired the internal committee for continuing education and was appointed to chair the management committee responsible for reviewing and drafting firm policies. She has taught numerous tax seminars for continuing professional education. She has a strong background in entrepreneurial business, not only from the companies for which she has worked, but also working with clients in a wide range of industries. She has taught accounting principles seminars for entrepreneurs through the Memphis Chamber of Commerce. She has been a member of the Estate Planning Council of Memphis since 2006. She is currently serving as President on the board of Austism Solution Center. Susan also holds board positions on Voices of the South and for the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Susan graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor of arts in Political Science.
Heather Liston-Christianson - Occupational Therapist

Heather Liston-Christiansen is an occupational therapist. She graduated with her associates in applied science degree in 2000 from Milwaukee Area Technical College and was employed as an occupational therapy assistant in a variety of settings, including school system practice. She returned to school in 2001 and received her bachelor of science degree in health science in 2003 and her master of occupational therapy in 2005. Both degrees are from the University of Findlay. For 3 years she was a full-time occupational therapist at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, TN. She provided treatment for children in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including a number of children on the autism spectrum. In 2008, she stepped down to PRN status at LeBonheur in order to homeschool her 2 daughters, Kelly, 10 years old and Tatum, 8 years old with an Asperger Syndrome diagnosis. She is married to Tom and stepmother to Joel, 13 years old and Erika, 10 years old.

Rhonda Crenshaw, SLP – Speech-Language Pathologist, Exceptional Development

Rhonda is currently the principal therapist at Exceptional Development, Inc., and manages clinical operations as well as providing evaluation and treatment of patients. Rhonda spends a great deal of time engaging the community in public health screenings, education, and awareness. Rhonda is a member of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association and is also a Hanen Certified Speech Language Pathologist. Rhonda’s passion is to empower parents as well as the child who has speech, language communication delays through skilled and personalized intervention, and video feedback in-service training to parents and/or teachers in order for language to be facilitated in the most natural environment Rhonda Crenshaw is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where she received her Master of Education in Speech Pathology.
Michael Gonzalez-Wallace - “The Neuromuscular progressive Strength Training program” developer

Michael Gonzalez Wallace has been involved with athletic sports for over 20 years, which is almost half his age. Michael's athletic career spans many years practicing semi-pro basketball in Spain, where his team, Estudiantes won the Spanish National Competition (similar to NCAA in USA and he was named the MVP of the Final, May 1993). In 1995 the Spanish basketball federation certified Michael as a strength trainer and basketball coach providing him the opportunity to develop his teaching skills. A graduate of the Universidad Autonoma (a top economics school in Madrid, Spain) he added the art of doing research his skill set. Upon graduation, he joined one of the top European Investment banks as strategist in their institutional sales division. Although moving to NYC in 2002 to pursue a banking career Gonzalez-Wallace, become a personal trainer for New York sports Club and received a certification from the National Academy of sports Medicine. He was drawn to sports medicine as if fate had a different calling for him. At the National Academy of Sports medicine he learned the significance of core strength, proper postural alignment and the neuromuscular system, the latter being essential to develop his program called neuromuscular progressive strength training.
Barbara Duncan, CPA

Barbara Duncan is a CPA with 20 years of experience in public accounting. A graduate of University of South Florida, her
background focuses primarily on individual and small business taxation and planning. Mrs. Duncan has served as treasurer for political campaigns, and is currently serving as treasurer for a local chapter of a national wetlands conservation organization.

Jackie E. Pruett is a native of Dyer County Tennessee, who graduated from Dyersburg High School – 1977. Jack attended Dyersburg State Community College and Union University of Jackson, Tennessee 1977 – 1982. Jack served in the Petroleum wholesale / retail industry as a private accountant / management from 1979 – 2000. AMBR Technologies was formed by Jack in 2001 and is a software sales and consulting firm with specialization in Not-for-Profit Accounting utilizing CYMA Accounting Products. AMBR Technologies is a certified dealership for CYMA Accounting products, SAGE BusinessVision and several other software companies. AMBR Technologies, currently has installations in nine states and are among the top ten CYMA dealerships in the USA. AMBR Technologies is credentialed as a CYMA Dealer of Excellence.
Jeff Sell, Esq. – Attorney

Jeff Sell and his wife of 21 years, Paula Marie Sell, have been blessed with four children, Natalie (15), Ben and Joe (14 year-old twins with autism), and Gracie (10). Jeff is the Director of Chapters & Membership and the Government Relations Liaison for the Autism Society of America (‘ASA”). He has served as the 1st Vice Chairman of ASA’s Board of Directors and the Chairman of ASA’s Government Relation Committee. Jeff presently serves on the Professional Advisory Boards of New York Families for Autistic Children (“NYFAC”) and Developmental Delay Resources (“DDR”) and he is the Vice President of the World Autism Organization (WAO). Jeff graduated from Lamar University and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law. In addition to being a member of several professional societies and organizations, Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and was a founding partner of Patterson?Sell, L.L.P. in Houston, Texas. He is a certified mediator and a co-founder of the Vaccine Injury Alliance and he is presently service as Public Liaison Counsel on the Petitioner’s Steering Committee for the Autism Omnibus case pending in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC.
Dr. Mark Wildmon – School Psychology, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Dr. Mark Wildmon specializes in applied behavior analysis and academic remediation. Dr. Wildmon’s clinical research and treatment has been recognized and published in nationally referred scientific journals. He completed his doctoral internship and training in Pediatric and Child Clinical Psychology and Developmental Disabilities at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Wildmon received his doctorate in School Psychology at Mississippi State University and has extensive experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Wildmon provides consultation services for both medical facilities and residential-based programs. He has recently relocated to and is involved as a volunteer for Autism Solution Center, Inc. Dr. Wildmon is also an approved provider for Behavior Analysis services for the State of Tennessee.
